CAMPUS LEAD BRIEFING · BEFORE SEPTEMBER 29

Two minutes before we go live.

How the platform works, your MyCampus portal, and what happens the day we launch. Then two things I need from you.

Recorded before launch. The season timeline was revised on October 13, 2026: the Campus Activation Phase runs October 1 to January 15, Season One League begins January 15 for the full field, and Regional nominations close February 26 (12 per region, 36 in all). Where this briefing mentions a November 20 cutoff or a December 4 announcement, the Campus Lead Guide and Campus Lead Packet are current.

  1. Two minutes before we go live. I'm Kevin Mackey, Founding League Commissioner of the Ohio Founders League. Season One opens September twenty ninth, and you are your university's campus lead. Two minutes: how the platform works, your portal, and what happens at launch.
  2. How the platform works. The League is a season, not a pitch competition. Founders register once and report real numbers every week. That progress becomes a Traction Score everyone can see. Ventures climb five stages, each ending in a Final Challenge an official verifies. Students and alumni play as Scouts, and in the spring, judges decide who wins five hundred seventy five thousand dollars in non dilutive capital.
  3. Your portal: MyCampus. This is MyCampus, your portal. The dashboard opens with what needs you next, your nominations against the ten to fifteen rule, and your campus points, your standing among the ten founding universities. Every screen explains itself.
  4. Two ways ventures come in. Ventures reach you two ways. You register one on a founder's behalf and they verify it, or students register themselves and appear as New. Either way: reach out, review, nominate. Every step is logged.
  5. Nominations by November 20. Your one deadline is November twentieth: nominate ten to fifteen ventures. The Selection Committee sees the record, not the pitch, so the best thing you can do is get ventures registered early and reporting weekly. The thirty six Playoff ventures are announced December fourth.
  6. Scouts and standings. Your campus also turns out Scouts. Anyone can register, pick five ventures, and score what they earn. No money involved. Scouts are ten percent of League Scoring, and there is one leaderboard for everyone.
  7. What happens on September 29. On September twenty ninth we announce publicly and you receive your invitation: one link to your account, your guide as a PDF, and a walkthrough of every screen. Founders and Scouts start registering that day.
  8. Two things I need from you. Two things before launch. Reply with your feedback: what's unclear, what's missing. And confirm the name and email your invitation should go to. I'm at kevin at ohio founders league dot org. Ten universities, one league. Let's build.
TWO THINGS I NEED FROM YOU

Reply to the email that brought you here.

  1. Your feedback. What is unclear, what is missing, what would make your campus's job easier, and anything you would not want your leadership to see. Blunt is better than polite.
  2. Your details. The name and email address your invitation should go to, and whether anyone else at your university should have a seat.

The Campus Lead Packet has the pitch, email templates, and announcements to share across campus. Want the rest now? The full guides for founders, Scouts, and campus leads are on the Learn page. Questions any time: kevin@ohiofoundersleague.org.
